This weekend varsity baseball split a double header with New Boston Huron. Winning game one 5 to 1 while allowing only two hits. We fell short in game two but the bats were hot all day, totaling 15 hits between both games. 

Belleville 4 - 3 Edsel Ford

Varsity baseball fought long and hard against Edsel Ford yesterday in the series opener, losing 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th. Call up Bo Solomon showed up ready to work, going 1 for 2 with walk and an RBI. Stay tuned as the team looka to split the series at home on Wednesday. 

Varsity baseball played Allen Park on Friday and walked away with a 10 to 6 win. The tigers scored in 5 of their 7 innings, and struck out a total of 11 Jaguars throughout the day, in a full team effort win. 

Varsity baseball played well against Ann Arbor Huron, but didn't pull off the win, losing 4-5. RJ Sherwood was a standout, allowing only 2 hits with 10 strikeouts, topping the day off by going 3 for 4 at the plate.

Belleville 1- 0 Ann Arbor Pioneer

Varsity gets their first home win against Pioneer. They finish with a walk off single from Nate Boyar, who threw out 3 baserunners from behind the plate.
